Log into Your RouteNote Account

Go to the official website of RouteNote, and create an account with it. After you have created an account, you need to log in to your RouteNote account using your username and password.

Fill in the Required Details

To submit your song to RouteNote, all you need to do is click on “Create a release.” As you click on “Create a release,” you will be asked to enter the track title that you want to submit for distribution. After this, you are required to fill in all the required details appropriately. Tell if it is an album or single. Tick either “Yes” or “No” in the section below the “Compilation Album.” Enter the primary artist’s name. It is essential to enter the name of the primary artist. If you leave the field empty, your song will not be approved. If there is more than one artist in a song, you can include their names below. You can name the music composer, featured artist, and music producer in the options given below “Primary artist.” Now is the time to tell which genre your song relates to. As you click on the “Primary genre” section, You will find several genres. You can choose any of them.” If you are not sure of genre, entering “Electronic” in the “Primary Genre” field will work.

Fill in the Copyright Details Appropriately

It is important to pay special attention while filling in all the copyright details. You can enter the name of the songwriter in the column next to the “Songwriter copyright” option to make sure the credit goes to the person who has written the lyrics of the song. Don’t forget to type the year when the song was written. In the second option below the “Songwriter copyright,” now is the time to fill in the details about “Publishers copyright.” Enter the name of publishers and the year of release when the song was bought from the songwriter. You can enter the name of your record label in the “Record Label Name” section.

Enter Release Date

Enter the current year in the “Release year.” Choose the “Sales start date.” It is the date when your song will appear on all music stores. After you have filled in all the details in the same way as mentioned above, the next steps are easy enough.

Upload Your Audio

Now is the time to upload your audio song to the website. Click on the “Upload” section, choose an audio file, and click to upload it to RouteNote. Make sure the audio file should be in MP3 format. The bitrate should be 320kbps. Its sample rate should be 44.1 kHz. If your song does not meet the quality standards, your song may be rejected. It is important to keep the song in professional quality.

Add Artwork

The artwork is the song poster that appears on a song when a song is played on a major music store like Spotify. It includes a photo of an artist. To upload artwork, you need to make sure the size of the cover image must be 3000X3000. It should not include contact details and any other copyrighted logo or picture.

Choose the Music Stores
You can choose the stores you want to distribute your song to. After all these steps have been completed, your song will be approved within 7 to 8 days.
