Cyberpunk 2077 Features That Have Been Removed

Recently CD Projekt Red, the makers of Cyberpunk 2077 shared information about the game saying a lot of content has been removed from this upcoming very popular Science Fiction RPG. Cyberpunk 2077, even after facing so many delays, is probably one of the most awaited games of 2020. Even though the game might take a few more months for its development, we can hope for its release by the end of this year. Considering the time it is taking in getting formulated, fans can expect that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be much more increasing and different from what gamers saw in its E3 2018 version.
In the last few years, some key features of this RPG game have been eliminated. No doubt, many fans and players of this game were disappointed and frustrated by this move, though the makers claim that this is what is right and the best. Alongside this, it looks only natural for an RPG game that was first published years ago in May 2012. These are some big changes made to the features of Cyberpunk 2077.

Wall Running
In a previous trailer of Cyberpunk 2077, it exhibited V, who is the player character, sprinting over a wall that was over its enemies’ heads. Apart from that, V was also shown using the Mantis Blades fitted in their arms to hang in the wall by hooking them onto it. This hanging feature also gave the playing character V sufficient chances to get hold of targets. Therefore it was much noticeable that the ability to run and hang over the wall was something that excited the players.
But unfortunately, now CD Projekt Red has decided to eliminate the wall hooking and running feature from Cyberpunk. They justified this movie by saying that the aforementioned feature was not going well with the shape and structure of the. The game’s level designer Max Pears said that it was all because of the design reasons due to which they had to remove the feature. However, he assured the gamers that a bunch of other movement alternatives will be made usable to them.
Vehicle Customization
Cyberpunk 2077, since its first trailer, has been compared to Grand Theft Auto. What makes GTA more player-friendly is the gamers’ ability to decorate and customize vehicles according to them. That’s why it was not wrong for the players to expect the same in Cyberpunk. The designer also indicated to the fans that the vehicle customization feature will be available in the game.
However, now it seems more like a misunderstanding or maybe CD Projekt Red confronted difficulties and couldn’t implement the feature. The makers stated that no option will be given to the players to customize their vehicles, however, vehicles will already be in the customized form.
The Flathead Bot
CD Projekt Red last year announced that V will now be given a robotic companion. This was to be a four-legged military robot named the Flathead that will appear during an in-game mission. If V successfully acquires Flathead, the companion would benefit V with all kinds of beneficial appliances, such as knocking over enemies and device hacking. Flathead would also receive direct commands so that V could coordinate easily with it.
But now it seems like V will no longer benefit from Flathead. Though Flathead will be there in an in-game mission, it will no longer be available for V. The makers said that V’s powers and abilities were appearing to overshadow Flathead. As the skills of both V and Flathead were crafted in the same way, the makers removed Flathead as a companion claiming to consolidate V’s skills.
The Subway
In Spider-Man, subways helped him to travel fast. Apart from this, subways also showed Spider-Man in costume amongst normal New York citizens. Few advertisements of Cyberpunk 2077 showed Night City’s subway system images, which made people think that something like this might be there in the game.
However, this is only partly true as though the subways will be there but it would not facilitate fast travel. Players can travel fast in this game just like in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, that is, via tourism terminals located all over the city.
Third Person Cutscenes
It was initially said that Cyberpunk 2077’s powerful character V will be open to customization, starting from the shape of the face to the size of the ear and even piercings. Players were all excited to glimpse their own designed versions of V in cutscenes of third-person, but unfortunately, this is no more what it is going to be now. The creators recently verified that third-person cutscenes will no longer be in the game. Rather, it will be the first party locked players gaming through V’s eyes. This is because the makers feel that controlling V as a third party will damage the feeling of being V.
