Creating customized Emoji is a trend nowadays. People nowadays are building their own avatar and creating custom emojis out of it. Well, custom emojis are a bit different from default emojis. Custom emojis are based on their creator’s expressions, while the default emojis are just common. In this digital era, the use of emojis has reached its peak.

Now to make the emoji game a little stronger, many companies have provided their users a chance to create their own emojis using new items and characters. To create custom emoji, users don’t have to download any additional apps. Custom emojis can also be used in the place of stickers. Gboard is Google’s keyboard that allows the user to create their preferred emoji. Gboard is available for both Android and iOS, but Android users get some additional emoji creation features.

The great thing about the custom emoji is that it can be used on almost every app. Along with the emoji, users can also customize stickers similar to Memoji on iOS. To do this press the Sticker icon above the keyboard and press the Add option and choose Minis to let Gboard take your photo and convert it into a cartoon.

iMessage

The app encouraged a lot of companies to focus on custom emoji and Memoji. Since the launch of the custom emoji and memoji feature, the number of emoji and memoji users has increased a lot. Memoji is more like cartoon stickers that are based on the user’s face.

In iMessage, there’s both sticker and emoji features which provide a variety of pictures and shapes into the conversation. After clicking a picture in iMessage, users can edit it just like an emoji and can also create a short video for more fun.

Facebook Messenger

Well, users can’t add a custom on Facebook Messenger but can apply a reaction emoji on the messages. By holding on to a text message, a list of emojis will pop up. Users can select any of the available emojis to give their reaction on the particular message.

Users can also change the default thumbs-up emoji. To do this, users have to press i icon in a conversation and open the Emoji section. In the following section, users can choose a new default emoji in the place of thumbs up. Using emoji in a chat box makes the conversation easier to understand. It helps both users to understand each other’s mood and their way of telling things.
