Hero students of Arclanskia handed demons a very embarrassing defeat. But the demons had no idea that they had been fooled, as the fight was rigged from the beginning since they fought near the lake of Holy water, which diminished Demon magic and put them at a disadvantage. When Anos learned about this, he was annoyed enough to challenge the hero students with his friends Sasha and Ray. They give the responsibility of creating a castle to Misha Necron, which will be crucial for the battle but little do they know about the danger that lurks near them.
Misha does a fantastic job of conjuring three demon castles and drew back to a support role while her friends were fighting the Hero Academy students. While Anos and his friends are shifting the fight in their favor, Misha walks deeper into one of the castles with little attention to her surroundings. She finds the Headmaster of Arclanskia calling her out, who seems disgusted for some reason. He uses holy magic to get past Misha’s barriers and injures her in the process. But he is not satisfied as his deep-seated hatred for demons drives him to use a sword to harm Misha even more. He is almost on the verge of destroying her for good, but luckily Anos arrives and unleashes a counter-attack.
Anos is dismayed by the Hero students’ barbarity towards the Demon King Academy students, which is surprising for him. However, it’s natural that there is a rivalry between demons and humans, but the Hero students’ ruthlessness and sadism are not tolerable for Anos. He believes that all of this negativity stems from the Headmaster Diego, who is motivating his students for doing such condemnable things. Anos realizes that if he wants to fix the situation, then he would have to deal with Diego for good, and that’s what he does.
Diego is an arrogant human who believes that he is the personification of the noble heroes as he fights in the name of Kanon, the legendary hero. He wants to harm and kills demons because of his deep-seated hatred for them, and Anos is very well aware of this. He casts a spell on Diego that morphs him into a gigantic demonic creature, but Anos isn’t done yet as he seems to be disturbed by the Headmaster’s cruelty and lack of compassion.
Anos holds Diego’s source and tells him that the legendary hero, Kanon, had seven of them, which allowed him to come back to life and keep challenging Anos for so long. Kanon could return until even one of the sources remains and he adds that Kanon would never resort to exploiting others even for the chance of defeating him. The legendary hero was nothing like the deceptive Headmaster, Diego, who would use any trick possible to ambush or to take down a demon. After Diego has fallen, Anos helps Misha heal and meets Eleanor Bianca, who claims to be the crux of magic.
