The film supposedly deals with shady characters of the town of Knockemstiff in Ohio who try to come to terms with the sins they have committed in their lives. The film has elements of Christianity. The central part of the story will be the confrontation between Holland, who plays the role of a young sinner, and Pattinson plays the role of a preacher.

The film starts with Holland receiving a gun from his father, who had received it during the Vietnam war. Holland receives it gracefully and says that it is the greatest gift he has ever received.

The trailer successfully hooks up the audience without giving away too much from the plot.  The film is directed by Antonio Campos and is produced by Jake Gyllenhaal.

The plot of the film is based on a novel of the same name by Donald Ray Pollock. The book debuted in 2011, receiving critical acclaim for its well-crafted suspense based on philosophical grounds.

Pollock also wrote a collection of short stories called Knockemstiff based on his experiences in the small town of Ohio, where he grew up. The Heavenly Table was his latest novel published in 2016. It told the story of a farmer Pearl Jewett and his three sons. The plot is based in the year 1917.

The Devil All the Time seems like an exciting prospect that can glue the subscribers of Netflix to their seats for 138 minutes.

The fact that Holland and Pattinson are working together in a film has excited the people on the internet. DC versus Marvel debate is not new; it has been going on since the time when only the comics of the two had existed. Now, Pattinson is gearing up to play the role of cape crusader in Matt Reeves’s Batman, and as we all know, Holland has already donned the Spiderman suit in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The film “The Devil All the Time” will be released on Netflix on September 16th.
