How to Link Two PowerPoint Presentation

If the users are planning to connect the two PowerPoint presentation, then they must ensure that both the presentations are in the same folder. When you have checked this, then proceed further.
Here is the list of actions to link two presentations together in the PowerPoint:
  • Use the Action button to connect the presentation.
  • Access the ‘Hyperlink to’ button below ‘Action Settings.’
  • Insert Hyperlink to slide.
Users have to make sure to access necessary slide presentations from the PC. They can also store it on the flash drive or hard drive.
Use Action Button to Link Presentation
An activation function is a function where you can connect the two presentations. If you want to use an Action button to link presentation, then you can follow the provided steps:
  1. Choose the keyword.
  2. Click on the connect tab on the ribbon menu.
  3. Find the Actions tab.
  4. Tap on it.
Access the ‘Hyperlink to’ Option Below ‘Action Settings’
If you want to access the ‘Hyperlink to’ option below ‘Action Settings,’ then abide by the given instructions:
  1. Click on ‘Hyperlink To’ when the Action settings pop up.
  2. Check it, and then you can access the drop-down section below.
  3. Choose the Other PowerPoint Presentation.
Insert Hyperlink to Slide
In case you intend to insert Hyperlink to slide, then go through the below-mentioned steps:
  1. This option allows the users to a browser with a file explorer.
  2. Choose the presentation you want to link.
  3. Tap on, OK.
  4. Select the slide you want to link and then press the OK option.
  5. When actions are confirmed, the file path of another presentation will be visible below ‘Hyperlink To.’
  6. Click on the OK option.
When you are done, a hyperlink will be added to the selected text. The file path will be visible when you hover the mouse cursor above the object. Now, when the users launch PowerPoint, tap on hyperlinked objects or text to practice the transition from one presentation to another.
However, users can link several presentations together as they want. If necessary, they can make the index slides that can link all presentations making it easily accessible to the users.
