As we have discussed above, the popularity of Rhydon among Pokémon franchise fans, here we have shared the specific location of Rhydon where it inherited in the Galar region of Sword and Shield. Below;
  • The Rock-type monster resides in Route 10, and players need to move towards Route 10 by using the Galar map. There is a 25% spawning chance of Rhydon in grass areas, so the player should look for Rhydon in Route 10.
  • Dusty Bowl in the Wild area is another location where the player should navigate Rhydon and Motorstoke Riverbank area is another area where you can find its predecessor Rhyhorn. You can evolve this Rhyhorn by raising the tier to 42 and evolve it to Rhydon.
  • Players should look for the weather as the weather condition lowers the spawning level of Pokémon. If it is Sandstorm or Sunny weather, then chances of encountering Rhydon enhance a lot.
  • The last and most tranquil resort is to trade a Rhydon with any of your extra Pokémon.
How to Locate Protector in Sword and Shield?
After catching a Rhydon, Protector is the item that is necessary for the evolution process. Before proceeding towards the evolution process, players should attain a protector as it is an essential item required to run the process. Here is the location of Protector:
  • The player should navigate the Protector in Route 9, or you can say in Circhester Bay.
  • The process requires the use of a bike to go in the water and make sure your bike is upgraded with the water upgrade.
  • Locate and stop nearby the trainer that is standing beside the signpost.
  • Now, head to the right side of that trainer and try to find a small island on which a Pokéball has been placed.
  • After, locating that island meant you had found the Protector.
Sword and Shield: Evolve Rhydon into Rhypherior
After, you have successfully attained Rhydon along with a protector, and now it’s the time to evolve the Rhydon into Rhypherior. The evolution process will be completed by trading, and thus, it requires you to take help from any reliable friend of yours. Now, open the Trade link and begin the trading process by placing the Protector on your Rhydon hand. After a couple of seconds, you will be mesmerized by its new avatar, aka Rhypherior. After that, ask your friend to return your Rhypherior to you.
Although the players are keen to evolve or catch Rhydon because of Rhypherior still, they are several players who are not evolving Rhydon into Rhypherior to kept its originality restitution.
